Step1: Whenever you get that you need to upgrade the GPS device. You have to first remove the Garmin GPS device from the car, truck and the bike for the update. Then you have to turn ON your laptop or computer and connect the Garmin GPS by USB wire. If it is not connected automatically with your laptop or computer then you have to manually login to your Garmin account before start the updating.

Step 2:  After that, you have to install the Garmin Express. Whenever the Garmin Express is installed on your computer or laptop with the help of navigating to the Garmin Express download page and after that select the “Download for Windows” or “Download for Mac”. When the app file is downloaded then open that app and hit OK on the install tab. Garmin GPS is working with all GPS units including Drive, Nuvi. And Zumo.

Step 3: After installing the Garmin Express for update the Garmin GPS. And if it is not opened on your computer after install the Garmin Express. After that connect the Garmin Express with the internet. After that hit OK on “Add a device” and locate your GPS. And that app helps to search for any available updates and give you the list. After that, you have to click OK on “select all” and make sure the GPS device keeps connected with a laptop or computer. When an app is installed on your computer, that app comes with the free or you have to pay for this. If the lifetime plan is not affordable then you can pay for this time.

Step 4: When the Garmin GPS is updated then you have to just hit OK on “eject” and remove the device from the laptop or computer by disconnect the USB cable. After unplugged the device from computer or laptop, you have to connect your Garmin GPS device on your car, truck and bike for the accurate location which helps to travel from one place to another place.
