Top sources on Tuesday said it would take “sustained” dialogue at the politico-diplomatic level for China to move its over 25,000 soldiers from the Western Theatre Command, with tanks, artillery and other weaponry, back to their permanent locations in Xinjiang and Tibet. Buffer zones to be set up at two friction points


The creation of ‘buffer zones’ at the two frictions points in the larger Gogra-Hot Springs area is likely to be completed in the next couple of days as part of the ongoing Phase-I of the stepwise de-escalation plan finalised by the Indian and Chinese corps commanders on June 30. 'India, China disengagement in the next few days'

Tougher lockdown in Bengal from July 9

CBSE reduces syllabus by 30% for classes 9 to 12
